What kind of services do you offer?
What kind of services do you offer?
ITAV offers services that help seniors in our community to remain independent in their homes.

It should be noted however, we are organized to supplement services and not to duplicate services provided by other not-for-profit or government organizations.  ITAV will provide information to help seniors identify other existing services available to them.

ITAV provides free rides to and from destinations within Westchester County Monday through Friday from 9:15am to 4:45pm. Volunteer Drivers donate their time and personal vehicles to make this possible.

As we have developed our cadre of volunteers we now offer other services as listed below.

How do driver services differ from those currently provided?

Currently the Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown Senior centers/Recreation Departments have van services. ITAV will augment those services.

ITAV rides will be available 5 days a week, 9:15am-4:45pm.  Senior Center vans only operate until 3:00pm on week days.  Individual volunteers will pick you up at your door, take you to your appointment and fetch you again for your ride home.

We encourage members to request (call 914.222.5116 or email us at info@itav10591.org) for a ride 48 weekday hours before to better insure a Volunteer Driver will be available.  However, if you cannot call that far in advance ... call and we will attempt to find an available Volunteer Driver ... or we will suggest other options that you might consider.
