Transportation
I understand that the #1 service on
practically everybody’s list is
availability of rides particularly for
medical appointments. Great to learn that the number of rides is unlimited as long as volunteers are available.

I love the Christmas holidays and all the festivities
I always used to enjoy taking the simplest of gifts and making it something special with wrapping and ribbons. To think maybe there could be a volunteer to help me do that is great. Or, if not helping with the wrapping then walking my dog and watering my plants while I wrap.

Companionship
I love my home and am so glad I am able to continue to live here. Rides are a great help but I also enjoy many of the other services that ITAV
volunteers offer ... like calling me every day to make sure everything is okay or dropping by for a visit and maybe playing a board game.

| Helping Hands Services
When I need somebody to help with those annoying little tasks like changing a light bulb in my kitchen ceiling fixture. I am not comfortable on a ladder any longer.

Just Checking in Phone Calls
I’m a member because it gives me a safety net. I know if I need help there will be somebody to assist me. Even if it’s just to give me a referral.

Technical Support
I love the internet and email. But there are times when I’m totally befuddled and my grand children who are whizzes live too far away to pop in to help. So it’s good to know I will be able to call for an ITAV whiz! That goes for my TV remote & cell phone problems too.
